It's snowing here. Which means no school, because the school district was like "lol snow day, we don't want to deal with bus"

Six months between posts seems like the norm for me lately. And by "lately," I mean "the last two years". That's lately, right?

I use quotation marks a lot.

New interest: Watchmen. I received the graphic novel for my birthday (oh yeah I had a birthday, it was cool) and I absolutely adore it. It's so unrelentingly intense and fascinating. Every time I read it, I find some new facet of it to analyze. (Especially that crazy bastard Rorschach. Flipping A.) I've actually convinced like three people at my school to read and love it. And the movie is going to be amazing. I'm totally going in costume...somehow.

And I crochet now. My current project is a white scarf with one of Rorschach's faceblots on the ends, so I can tuck it in and have a cosplay scarf for being girlschach. Also a warm scarf. For Washington DC.

Because I'm going to Washington DC for the inauguration. And I have to tell everyone.

Hi,

I LOVE your ASOUE work.

I haven't been in the fandom for several years (I was a one-hit wonder with my random, badly-written, and utterly stupid "What's the Name of the Game?"), but I reread "After All" today (one of those boring days where I close my eyes and click on a random story in my ff.net favorites), and remembered how great it was...

You were my fandom-inspiration for my story (which sucked... don't read it...), so I just wanted to give you a shout-out...

Actually, I think that was someone else. The Laura V. Bleediotie on ff.net isn't me (I've actually never had an ff.net account). My ASOUE fic is actually really terrible, which is why I haven't posted any of it since probably 2003.

But that's a very kind comment, and if I were the person you thought I was, I'd be very flattered! :D
